The Beauty Tips
Art is not a luxury, but a necessity.

We all love to adore our own hands now and then. Whenever they start to look a bit off, we give them the pampering they need by getting a manicure from Sometimes the nails have become so dull and lost their shine, and it makes us wonder. Our nails tell us a lot about our health too. But when the nails begin to break easily and look dull, we need to step in and take better care of them. Following are some tips that will promote healthy and strong nails.

Cuticle Oil

Using cuticle oil has a positive impact on the health of your nails, cuticles, and surrounding skin. Various kinds of cuticle oils are available. Some even smell funny. But that doesn’t mean that you avoid using them altogether. If you don’t want to spend a lot, you can always get a bottle of pure vitamin E and Jojoba oil and mix them and use them to create the perfect cuticle and nail oil.

Get a crystal nail file.

Emery board nail files are readily available and also not expensive. However, when you invest in a crystal nail file, it would last you for years. Thoroughly rinsing the nail file will make it as clean and good as it was new. A crystal file will also allow you to file your nail backward and forwards, which an emery board nail doesn’t allow you to do. You would be able to get a nice and clean shape without tearing or damaging your nail tips. It is the easiest and the healthiest way to file your nails.

Don’t cut your cuticles.

A lot of salons do cut the cuticles, even though they shouldn’t be. There are so many other which are healthier ways than cutting. Like you could use nail and cuticle scrubs or cuticle dissolvers. You could even take an orange rubber stick and push them back and forth after applying your cuticle oil.

Don’t keep your hands in water for longer if possible.

Submerging your nails in the water for an extended period can weaken them. We all love long and relaxing baths. The next time you are soaking in your bathroom and washing away the pressures of the day, make it a point to keep your nails above the water level.

Keep your nails polished.

Keeping your nail polish on helps to protect the nails. You can put a base coat and two coats of your chosen color and finish off with a topcoat. Once that has been done, apply cuticle oil to your nails. If you feel that your nails have become a little weak, use glitter nail polish to prevent breakage.

Eat Healthier

Consuming healthy food has a significant impact on not only your health but also on your nails. Eating healthy and staying away from junk food are always helpful. Once you have adapted to the healthy lifestyle you will slowly begin to see changes take place in your nails as well.
